Hi

I finally looked at the manual and saw the ERR messages.  At first I thought  that there should be a number with it.  Wrong, it was listed as ERR KEY.  It said that it usually was caused by an external device shorting KEY or PTT to ground.  I caused it by using a mono to stereo 1/8 to 1/4 plug in the Key Paddle hole on he back of the k3.  It should have been a mono to mono, 1/8 to 1/4 plug.  I switched them during some testing I was doing.
