My good friend, W8DA has written several apps for Android phones and Android Tablets, including, Morse Trainer, Morse Decoder, DTMF, DX Cluster, NCDXF Beacon, Droid PSK, Droid RTTY and now Droid SSTV. These allow you to simply place your Android Phone or Tablet by the speaker of your Transceiver and receive any of them and with a simple interface also transmit, PSK, RTTY and SSTV. I have NO financial interest in Wolfgangs enterprise, he is simply a good friend and innovative programmer.
You may further investigate his applications by going to: www.wolphi.com 73, NF8J Paul VanOveren Alto, Michigan 49302 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Also, the author noted that BT is still in experimental stage due to noise during transmit. I wud love to get my K2 on PSK. 72 Ron, wb1hga ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
I've seen several audio interfaces which are based on existing Bluetooth accessories for cellphones. YOu can use either a Hands-free car kit, or an ordinary Bluetooth headset.

I do not know anything about Bluetooth, in fact I do NOT even own a Android
phone, however, I know that QST will publish in May issue and article about W8DA, Wolfgangs' apps for the Android Phone and Tablet, in fact the front cover picture will be about the interface for the phones I believe, look for it..
