I'm at the same place you are, finished up phase 2 checkout and alignment
yesterday afternoon and spent the evening listening to 40m. It will be on
the air in no time.

it is a great sounding rig! i couldn't get over how nice the xfils are. i've
been using an icom751a for cw since i got licensed a couple of years ago and
it just has the stock filtering.

rather than upgrading it with one new filter i went for the k2 and got four!

the k2's controls seem very nicely placed as well for convenient operation.

looking forward to spewing some rf later this week!
