Heil Goldline mic

bobgarceau
I have a heil goldline mic that I would like to use with the K3.

What cord do I get and where?

A visit to the Heil website didn't result in much help.

Bob, W1EQ

Just use a Kenwood (red) connection cable. It is made by Heil.

It's just like a Kenwood as far as Heil is concerned.
See: http://www.heilsound.com/amateur/adapters/mics.pdf

Assuming you have the GM 4 or GM5, you will need the Heil CC1K.
The adapter cables are available from most Heil dealers.  Check
R and L Electronics, GigaParts, HRO, etc.

Bob,

Heilsound does not list much info for the Elecraft transceivers.
Use the Kenwood adapter - it will work.  Kenwood and Elecraft mic
pinouts differ only in the use of pins 5 and 6 and that adapter does not
use either of those pins.
