I have 2 questions about mic for the K2.
When I build my K2 and ordered the ksb2 i also got the MH2 handmic.
Does anyone know the frequencyspand on that mic?
I need to know so I can set the transmit filters for maximum punch.
Has anyone tried the Heil ICm on the K2?
If so....How did the ICm sound and how was the drive and vox operation?
The reason I ask is that I have an IC706MK2g as mobile and holiday qth-rig
and want to use the ICm on both if the K2 sounds good with it.
One thing I must say is that I set my FL1OP1 filter on LSB and USB on my
K2 so it
is somewhat between the HC-4 and HC-5 element , and never had bad
audioreports on my K2.
It's almost "DX Dream machine".
The filters is set so high that the RX audio is mostly to sharp to listen
to.
Transmits great! Well! In city hams think I'm cutting glas! lol :-)
