Hel pon locked VFO on 40M

Dr. J.R. Sheller
Hi .

I need some serious help on my K2 { late SN].

I got a problem with my K2.. It is locked up on 40M.. Still receives and
transmits normal..The LOCK is NOT engaged.  On 40 VFO it is locked at
7.100000 and VFO B at 7.040000... No other band is affected.. I was
adjusting  the CW tuning mod and know I hit some wrong buttons moving
thru the menus... Neither VFO a/b  will cause any freq change.  The
rit works though.  I know its pilot error, just cant figure out what I did..

Any Help would be much appreciated.. Thanks

Doc K8RR

I usually do my research before answering, but I'm too tired, and
this might help now :).  I'm wondering if you put the rig into the memory
mode that was designed for the 60m band.  When you "tune around" in that
mode, it hops you through a list of stored frequencies.  If there are
none, it may appear as if the VFO is locked because there is no next or
previous memory to jump to.
