Help! K2 display backlight

Jack-123
Just tried installing the K2 display backlight as per the errata sheet.

The legs on mine are to short to go through the PCB holes. Once the two
spacers are in place, the legs are exactly long enough to just touch the
front of the PCB.

Looking at the photos of the backlight on the builders resources webpage,
the one pictured has much longer legs than mine.

Q1. Has anyone else suffered "dimensionally challenged" diffuser legs?

Q2. How did you get round it?

Q3. Is mine just an odd-ball :)

Thanks

G'day Jack,

In his Reflector post just this past Sunday, WB7SS included a link to
his website < http://www.heavymetalradios.com/ > where he has several photos
of his new, but not yet patented "J Hook" method.  You can find his original
post in the Reflector archives at ...

Thanks Gary. I did think of something along these lines.

So are all the K2s going out with diffuser legs that are to short??
