Aloha:
  I have looked in the manual and must have missed it but:

When I select 10mhz band , 12mhz comes up instead...how do I get the K3 to come up with 10.1mhz when I select tht band?

Select the 10 Mhz band.  Manually enter 10.1 Mhz using the keypad.  When you return to that band, the radio should be back in the 10Mhz ham band (wherever you left it).

  Grant,

You do not have to select the 10 MHz band first, just do the direct
frequency entry, the K3 will then sort out the band for that frequency.
