Help

Larry Draughn
Just had my K3 for about a week need help with microphone, seems I have a
hum or slight distortion using the Heil PR-40 and connected to rear mic
port, any thoughts? Larry AE4LD

If your K3 is connected to your computer for logging or rig control
purposes, make certain that the ground of the K3 is adequately bonded to
the chassis of the computer.  I had a similar distortion issue on my K3
audio, and I had to go all the way down to a 10 inch length of RG-8 coax
braid for a bonding strap to make it completely go  away.
