Hex Beam

Edward A. Dauer
Recent posts on the hex beam sent me off to look further into it.  I found what I think is an  excellent discussion at http://www.karinya.net/g3txq/hexbeam/

Anyone know a source for support construction notes or ideas for a portable application?

Re: Hex Beam

I have used the K4KIO Hex beam on two DX-peditions, one to J6 and one to
V3.  It fits inside a hard sided golf club carrier perfectly.   They are
easy to put together and pretty light.  I compared the Hex beam to a 2
ele SteppIR and could not really tell any difference.

I'd go and visit Leo K4KIO's webiste, there you will find much inspiration.
