I loaned out my KX3 to a friend for a trip. Turns out he transmitted 5w without an antenna or dummy load, while practicing. Did this 'let out all the magic smoke?' The KX3 Tx light goes red (hooked to my home antenna), but shows Hi SWR 25.4:1 and the signal is not getting any hits from ReverseBeacon.net.
There is an internal ATU in my KX3, and I've tried re-tuning. Still shows 25.4:1.
Suggestions? Hints?
