How does list work?

Rich McCabe

The Elecraft list is just a nemail broadcast tool. You are not using a
website so there is no way to have a POST reply button.

When you send an email to [hidden email] it broadcast it to all
the "members" of the list. Only members can post.

When you reply to a post, make sure you change the address to
[hidden email].

When you send to that email, you will get a copy since you are on the list.
There is no reason to send an email to the original poster AND the list.
They will get it twice if you do.  You have mentioned "site" a couple times.
The list is totally independent of any site. Its just mail.

If you want to send to someone privatetly (off list), just reply and make
sure its their email and not the list email. Also, make sure you reply in
plain text and not HTML.
