Hmm - I am not sure how many beta testers there are in total. Some
are focused on other areas and we might not hear from them. From my
perspective there are 8 or so - not counting the Elecraft people who
are also working on the radios. Most of them have made a post or two
here (or more).
I think we can probably agree that our focus is on testing the radio
and getting the kinks ironed out. Any PR work here is mostly a bonus
and really - until we get to the "final" firmware that will be used
for FCS - isn't very valuable anyway. This radio continues to improve
with each new release of firmware.
It will be really interesting when there are about 250 of these out
there - and you all start sharing your experiences. That will be
really something.
Now - back to seeing if I can hear that pesky 3B7 on 160. :-) Let me
assure you that when you slip on the headphones, they won't come off
easily.
