How many Windows users are using Windows 98 SE?

Hello All

I still run Win98SE. It does everything I need for my radio operations.
I use an homebrewed logger for normal ops and contesting, it is
connected to the K3 through a 'real' serial port, to give freq/power
info for the log plus tuning/bandswitching from the keyboard.
The logger was developed using Borland Builder 4, it maybe dated but it
does the job very well.
I assume this K3 will still work OK after updating with the 'new'
Utility prog.

I use another computer which runs Linux, which I use for the Internet,
(I wouldn't use any Windows version for the web!!) this computer also
dual-boots to WinXP. I guess I will have to connect the K3 to this
computer to use the Linux version of the Utility prog for
updating/configuring etc. then switch back to the radio computer once
this is done.
Just realised, as I was typing this, the new Utility prog wont affect
the use of Linux.

I have two old computers with win95, one collects dust and acts as
ballast, the other is in an old P90 Thinkpad that only runs two old
programs (DOS-based).  I have two desk-tops with XP32 SP3 and a
laptop that will be upgraded from vista to win8pro.  I do all my K3
and KX3 interfacing with one of the XP32 (writing this e-mail on it).

XP and up works for me.
I spoke to my only contact known to be still using 98 and even though he
is using 98 on a very old machine for some specific software, he is
using XP on newer machines for everything else.  The death of 98 has
probably already happened.
