I for one vote no on the recent changes to the header for the email
from the reflector. It has made it more difficult to distinguish replies directed to me personally from those emails intended to go to the mail exploder and now they all go into my inbox. If this is a mailman change, it is not welcome. Bob _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I saw the change, and don't particularly like it.
It'd be good if among all the "List-"headers, there was an "List-Owner:" line. 73, doug _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. The old messages show the following: Sender: [hidden email] Errors-To: [hidden email] X-BeenThere: [hidden email] Of these, the latest messages show only the X-BeenThere header. That should be usable for filtering (by procmail or ???). This is a newer version of Mailman (2.1.4 vs 2.0.8), which may explain the change. The older version is no longer supported by the authors. 73, Bob Nielsen, N7XY _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Gee! I go out of town for a week and the list decides to change configuration
on its own... ;-) I think I've got it fixed. I turned OFF 'personalized' replies, which was messing up the TO: and CC: fields. This should also speed up list response. 73, Eric Elecraft list admin. ---- Bob Nielsen wrote: > On Mon, Aug 02, 2004 at 01:02:57AM -0000, Robert McGwier wrote: > >>I for one vote no on the recent changes to the header for the email >>from the reflector.
