IF Output Buffer Gain Modification

DC1RS
Now that the enhancement note for the IF Output Buffer Gain Modification is available, I wanted to ask if there is a significant difference compared to the LP Buffer Modification.
I've done the LP-Mod and now I'm pondering if i should do the Elecraft-Mod.

Hi Roland,

Eric wrote some days ago that those who already performed the
LP-mod could leave (and use) it as it is.

Roland,

search for " Future Factory " and you will find what Eric wrote:

"Please note that the last item, the IF Output Buffer Gain mMod, is
slightly different than the similar N8LP mod some have been
performing on their K3s independently. We determined that only one value
needs to change to implement the gain increase for the IF output. We
are changing  R8 from 1K ohms to 13K ohms.
(Those that have made the N8LP mod may also leave it as is.)"

Cheers
