The serial discussion centers around a recent patch set that made some
changes to the Hamlib (not all caps :) low-level serial port source code
for Windows, but nothing to do with the ports in the radios themselves.
No need to start a long thread about serial ports, again!

The Elecraft specific portion was regarding shutting off the
auto-transceive capability when Hamlib initializes the radio.  The
Hamlib function to do so had never been tested so it had a small bug
that needed fixed.
