Interesting!

Phil LaMarche-2
Tuning 10 meters with my K3 and looking at the LP Pan scope, I see AM
signals across the band.  Tuning to each one, it sounds like WWV with the
beep beep etc.  Any idea what is doing that?

Re: Interesting!

Are you hearing them on both the K3 and LP-PAN?

Phil:

I suspect you are hearing trash from either a USB interface or Ethernet
interface, probably a USB device. There's a handshake once a second that
sounds a lot like the WWV "beep." These appear at many places in the HF
spectrum.

I would start by powering down all the computer gear with all interface
cables removed. Then turn the computer back on and start attaching
devices one at a time. until the culprit is found.

Once found, you can start on a fix.
