Internal battery life.

I was just wondering what kind of life expectency one can expect between
charges on the internal battery kit.
I do only voice myself, so I am aiming this mainly at other people using
ssb with the qrp model. CW operators ar emore than welcome to respond,
just note your battery experiences are on cw please.

I use the first battery in my K2 #01118 since July 2000 (more than 5 years)!

K2:
mode - CW only
output - 5 watts
note - diode and resistor from KBAT2 removed
        (see www.dk3red.homepage.t-online.de/en/s6.htm#trx6)

Charger:
- extern (www.dk3red.homepage.t-online.de/en/s7.htm#pwr3)
- float charging
- constant voltage = 13.8 volts
- maximal current = 330 mA (= 0.15 C)

K2 1103 completed during 2001, battery still charging FB.  Charging at 13.8 volts until last month or so increased to 14.4 volts.  Switch on back of K2 constantly in "on" (or whatever its called) position.
