Dave,
Put a dummy load on the KX3 the next time you try that - it is going
into transmit.
You have nothing connected to ACC2 - no voltage, no closed circuit. That
means the voltage at ACC2 IO is LOw since there nothing applied to that
input inside the KX3 - it is just a floating input. Sooo, when you
select LO=PTT in the menu, it asserts PTT on the KX3 - just as you told
it to do.
