J8 - RF Board

Frank Hunter
That's the 10X2 female socket, mine seems to have suffered a flaw in
manufacture, on one complete row the plactic is "indented" leaving the
holes closed. Now, I realise Elecraft will send me a replacement but
they're on one side of the Atlantic and I'm on the other :) so it might
take a while. Does anyone know of a UK source for these connectors?

Frank,

Since you have only the Elecraft part number, and not the manufacturer's
number, I would recommend you obtain a replacement from Elecraft.  While you
surely can obtain 0.1 inch spaced 20 pin dual row female connectors
somewhere in the UK, they may vary in height, and for that application, the
height is a critical factor.  Who knows, you might get lucky, but it is easy
to be unlucky too.
