Juice MG4 speaker

wn3r.us
I bought this one for my iPad. Also works well with KX3. Costs about $35.00.
Very small and rugged.

I get distortion from this and the internal speaker with volume >30. So I assume the internal speaker is working as it should. Distortion seems to be an electronic problem.

Fortunately, there is plenty of sound.

Dick,

I am using a West Mountain Radio PWRspkr 15W for mobile. It requires 12vdc
but the distortion is now gone as I only need to run the audio @ 15.

I am NOT using the KX3 as a portable walk-around transceiver though.
Strictly Mobile or Desktop operation.

Is this the same one that New Egg had in the link? I wondered if it might be
the radio because it's possible to get VG sound from small speakers anymore
and I'm sure that Elecraft would not skimp a dollar or two on a good
speaker. If so I will have a speaker ($13) for my iPad anyway 8>).
