K-3 KPA3 Help

Howard Stephenson - K6IA
I'm in the final stages of my K-3 build.
When I went to install the KPA3 I noticed a pin missing on connector
P68A which plugs into the KPAIO3 board. It appears to be cut off
flush.
Is this normal?
Thanks
Howard Stephenson K6IA

Is the corresponding hole on J68A on the KPAIO3 board plugged? It may
be keyed so that you can't plug the KPAIO3 in backwards. According to
the schematics, pins 5 and 6 on J68A/P68A are not used.
