Performed the Reference Oscillator adjustment using Method 2. Discovered I was about 20 hz below 10.000. Got the adjustment completed and then noticed that when going from the 1khz bandwith to 400 hz filter the signal would drop down considerably. Opened Config menu and verified Filter 3 (400hz 8 pole) was turned On. Noticed that Filter FRQ was at zero. By adjusting the frequency to +0.25 it then seemed to perform as it had prior to the Reference Oscillator adjustment. Is this expected behavior? Thanks in advance for the input. 73, Art KZ5D ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I've measured them all with a spectrum analyzer, and all require some offset to center them in the K3 IF, typically 40-100 Hz. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Could the P3 or another sdr/panadaptor be used to do this alignment?
