K-Pod and/or K3 programmig?

john@kk9a.com
I just looked at my K-POD.  To switch bands I used the following codes:

10m   BN09;
15m   BN07;
20m   BN05;
40m   BN03;
80m   BN01;
160m  BN00;

Thanks for the QSO and mult on Saturday night

I set both of my K-PODs to switch to specific bands. I am not at home now
or I would copy the programs however it was easy to find in the manual. If
you cannot find it I can send it to you tonight. I used this feature a lot
over the weekend, it is much nicer than pressing the up/down toggle on the
K3S. I just wish there was more room on the K-POD to label the buttons. I
also really enjoyed having the RIT controls close to the keyboard.

I'm interest in macros or ?? (alternative key assignments) to enable
simple tasks I've been accustomed to with other radios.

The ones that immediately come to mind are
- jump up or down X Khz (2 buttons)
- increase/decrease (or reset to the default) step of the tuning encoder
- switch directly to a specific band instead of having to scroll through
them to get where you want to go (6 buttons).

There are others that I'm sure I'll think of as time moves on.

Thanks & 73,
