K1 6-Band Operation

wa5pql@austin-hill.com
To prevent having to switch out the 2-band module with the 4-band module to
obtain 6-band coverage, has anyone modified the K1 with a switchable ribon
cable arrangement which would allow witching from one board to another? Or
is this even possible?

Austin,

This would require coax at several connector pins, not to mention a
very complex band switch, and is in my opinion not very practical. That
said, I wouldn't discourage a competent experimenter from trying it.
