Hello Curt,
Your filters are probably off center. Install Fldigi and plug in the K1 headset plug into your computer mic plug. Then I think it's C21 that you use to center the filter, if I remember well. I also think you have to redo the C13 alignment after that. I'm just writing this from memory, so check before you attempt anything… Don or someone better than me can give you the whole procedure. I had the same problem and it was a very easy fix.
