I just finished finished wrapping and tinning my filter board 40m toroids. I read copious posts and instructions regarding wrapping and tinning. Well, my own experience has been incredibly positive. I love toroids, but I think that can be attributed to my Weller wctcp soldering station. I just burn off the enamel at the same time I am tinning...it works like butter. I must state, though, that the video helped greatly from here.
