It was "humorous" until I got to the characteristic curve of pins
remaining vs. insertions.  Then it turned into a belly laugh ..  :-)

I'd like to know a little more about the K144XV receive
performance.  The Noise Figure is given as "<2 dB", while the
external XV144 has a NF "typically 0.8 dB".  This seems like a
significant difference.  The XV144 also has a high dynamic range
front end - how does the K144XV compare?

This is a YMMV, but personally I don't know why one would want to put all their eggs in one basket or all their radios in one box. I fact I would rather have a separate 6 meter radio, which I do. Of course i could buy another K3

That makes two of us at least Neill.....does anyone know about the dynamic range of the k144xv?

I'm interested in this too. I don't recall anyone from Elecraft picking up
on this query when it was raised earlier.
