K2/100 speaker audio

Hi All,

Have just noticed that I'm hearing nothing through my K2/100 speaker.
 
Headphones work OK and fixed audio out is fine, but nothing on the speaker
or at the external speaker jack.

Would I be right in thinking that the headphone socket on the front panel
could be on the blink ??

Did you just build it?  Has it worked before?  There was a "builders
alert" that came out recently about changes in the jack.
