I picked K2 #5428 from the post office last night!
First impression as I was brought out of the back
room: That's it?? Is there another box or something?
Then I remembered that disassembled kits take up a lot
less space than finished radios. What's better is
that they need a lot less packing material too. So
there's a lot less waste going to the landfill.
Everyone give yourself a pat on the back for choosing
an Elecraft, which besides being fun to build and use,
is probably the most environmentally friendly
transceiver you can get!
With luck, you won't hear from me again until I shout
"It's Alive" in a few weeks.
