K2 7412 build

Just off the top of your heads, I am building K2 #7412. In the inventory
for the control board there should be a LM380 for U9 but I have an
LM833. There is already one for U2. Now I have an extra but no LM380.
Are the two comparable? One is an audio amp and the other is an op amp.
Any help?

Dan,

It would appear that the wrong part was packaged - but re-check U2 to be
certain it is not the LM380.  The parts are *not* compatible as you have
surmised.
Send a request for the LM380N-8 (PN E600019) to [hidden email] and
you should receive the proper part.
