K2 Audio control scratchy throughout the range

I inherited a second K2.  It is serial number 85 and works very well
except the volume control is noisy and erratic throughout its range.  Do
I need to do anything other than replace the pot?  I know there were
other mods for the volume control and its circuit, but I believe it was
because of noise only on the low end of the range.  I think this pot is
just plain old and the radio sat unused for the last seven years.

Replace the AF Gain pot and install the Alternate AF Gain Wiring Mod
