K2 BFO drift

Hi

I found that BFO frequency is 50-100Hz higher at power on.
It takes about 1-1.5 hours to be fixed at correct frequency.

My K2 is #4504 so I believe it has been modified as Elecradt
made K2 BFO drift mod in 2002.

My question is that 50-100Hz drift is within specification ?

Aki,

The BFO drift is not specified separately, so I cannot say if it is within
spec or not.
The entire frequency stability of the K2 is specified at less than 200 Hz
after a 5 minute warmup, so you can check the overall drift and if it is
excessive, perhaps a further look at the BFO may be in order.
