K2 Heil Pro-Set connection locks up keyboard

I have K2 s/n 0660 recently completed and seems to be working ok.

Tried to use Heil Pro-Set and installed per instructions that came with it from Elecraft.

When I plug in headset, display freezes and buttons on K2 do not work. Seems like Pro-Set is loading control board PS or ?

Regular Elecraft Hand Mike connected to same input works fine.
