K2 Help

Frank Baker-2
Hello:
I have K2 that has a Transverter board that with the traces messed up on the
RF path where the two RCA connectors connect to. The K2 no longer receives a
signal. Can anyone out there repair this transverter board and K2?
Thanks, Frank

Frank,

You should be able to repair it yourself.  Use wire to repair the
damaged traces - #30 wire-wrap wire works great for that purpose, but
you can use whatever your have in a small gauge wire - if there is
danger that the wire may contact other parts of the circuits, use
insulated wire.

The schematic is a guide to show you 'which connects to what' - use it.
As long as everything is properly connected, it should work fine.
