I tried to find the MHz birdie and could not hear it. Perhaps it was below the noise level. I could not observe any change on a DMM when adjusting L34. Is there any other way to hear the birdie? I tuned L34 for the maximum signal strength of a 7.03 Mhz cw ham signal. Will this work; or is there a better way not having a signal generator?
