K2 Issues

Anthony Bowyer

I recently acquired a K2 that someone had connected a
MicroKeyer to and damaged Q1 and the MCU on the KSB2
board. I found the PDF detailing other possibly
damaged components after an improper serial cable has
been connected.

I removed the KSB2 and jumpered the required
connections and the put C167 back in place and
everything seems to be working corrrectly.

Is there an easy way to tell if any of the other
components, besides the one's in the KSB2 have been
damaged? I have power control on CW and PC
communications.

Any ideas??

Thank you,
Anthony, NT4X
