[K2] - K6XX zero beat indicator available assembled?

Chris Kimball

I'd like to add a zero beat indicator to my K2 S/N 4913.  But I'm too
shaky (and ill equipted) to work with SMDs.  Could someone please
provide an assembled board at a reasonable cost?

W6WC FD ops

Matt Zilmer
Using the call W6WC, our 12F FD crew will be active for 24 hours from
Centennial Park in Santa Ana, CA.  The 'F' designator means the
operation is at an EOC.

The equipment types are scattered, but at least one K3 will be used -
for CW ops.  Dave Bates, myself, plus others will attempt continuous
operation on all 80-6m bands.  I believe there will be at least two
K2s and another K3 as well.  External bandpass filters will be used
extensively, but not on the K3s - not needed!

Give us a call if you have time in between working and logging!

I'd also pay a premium over the cost of parts for the convenience of
receiving not just the board, but all of the other parts that are needed
to install it: LED, wire, spare keycap (perhaps), &c.

I wouldn't be so sure. It will depend on antenna spacing and antenna
directivity.

OK, I will make an offer to assemble those kits.  $25 each includes
1st class mail shipping to your US address.

Here is how it would have to work:
1) You order what you want or need from
http://www.wb3aal.com/Pages/K6XX/K6XXCWIndicatorKit.htm
2) Have the kit sent direct to my QRZ.com asddress (hopefully it will
name you as the purchaser - ask Ron to make certain of that).
3) Send your check for $25 to my QRZ.com address along with your address
and preferred sidetone pitch.
4) When I get the kit, I will assemble it, and if I have your check and
sidetone pitch, I will test and align it, and put it in the mail to you.
