K2 - KAF2 Option - Opinions Solicited

stan levandowski
Hi folks.  I'm a  HF QRP/CW op - always have been; always will be.

Having said this, will I get a reasonable "bang for the buck" if I
purchase the KAF2 option?

I presently own the K2/10, KAT2, and KNB2.

Real world opinions solicited....

I prefer the DSP2 vs the AF filter.  Both are helpful.

Hello Stan,

My K2/100 built in 2003 has the KAF2 option installed, and the KAF2
certainly helps when listening to weak signals.

I do not use the Time Clock, which is part of the KAF2, because it generates
a fairly strong "click" heard every second.
