[K2] KPA100 Page 44 Resistance Measurements

K1FFX
The instructions with the resistance check chart on page 44 of the Rev G KPA100 manual are very explicit about the measurement on J3, namely that the electrolytic capacitor in the 12V line causes this measurement to appear as a short initially, and then slowly go up to a resistance value within range.

I am seeing exactly the same behavior on the Q1 and Q2's collectors and D13's cathode, starts at 0 ohms and ramps up to an in-range value in a number of seconds.  Since the instructions were so explicit about J3 and didn't mention these other measurements, I'd like to make sure that this behavior is OK.

Thanks -

Bruce

  Bruce,

Yes. those points are all connected together by low value resistors or
transformer windings.
