Has anyone out there changed the Backlight LED's.
I was wondering if blue would be a possibility.
When it was time for me to install the LCD, I forgot to re-read the errata...
Since it is now to far recessed into the panel, I would like to de-solder it and start over.
This would be a good time for a color change.
I just love the way blue LED's look.
Red/Amber/Orange could be used for night time operation.
Maybe if Elecraft is able to purchase the backlight panels with different colors from their vendor and resale them, we could extend the K2 mods available.
"Pimp My Rig" anyone!!!
But then I would have to hang "Fuzzy Dice" on the antenna and glue a Cadillac hood ornament on the VFO knob!
