Plugging in my newly installed microphone causes the display to read and freeze on ELE, the bar graph to freeze on 7 and no audio on power up. Unplugging it and the radio comes to life. Plugging it in with the power on causes the VFO to switch from A to B as the pins first touch. PPT and the radio freezes up. Yes, I put the 8 jumpers on and soldered the resistor between pins 1 and 6. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
