Allan,
Build the RF probe that came with the K2 - unless you already have one,
or have a 'scope with good frequency response (100 MHz) and a 10X probe.
Then turn the manual pages to Appendix E and do the Transmit Signal
Tracing section. When you come to any stage in the listed process that
does not develop the expected RF voltage, stop (there is no sense in
going further) - you have found the failing stage.
Once you identify the failing stage, we may be able to help further.
Right now all we can say is that it is somewhere in the transmit chain.
