K2 Part 2 and alignment

Christophe F8ACF-56

hello all,

Part 2 and alignment validated everything is OK, BFO = 5.9 kHz, VCO of 2.17 V to 6.0 V, 13 KHz PLL so it's OK

Song minor or I do not see how pressing the button "display" was the voltage and amperage, the amperage is only Ok, there is a gap between the multimeter reading and that of K2, I not know the origin or the setting of this part

for those that want to place or is the video test::

thank you for your help

Re: K2 Part 2 and alignment

Don Wilhelm-4
Christophe,

The voltage that you see in the display will always be lower than the
voltage at the input power jack.
There is a reverse polarity protection diode in the K2 and there is a
slight voltage drop across the fuse.
That will make the voltage inside the K2 0.4 to 0.5 volts lower than the
voltage of your power source.

hello all, hello Don,

thank you for the explanation, it is that I did not think this factor

Thank you, I learn a lot with very interesting list, and big thanks to Don for us to share his knowledge.
