K2 S/N 5615 IS AIRBORNE!

Steve Banks
Just a quick message to advise the list that K2 5615 is airborne!  It's still in barebones form (no accssories started yet), but its RF Pout ranges between 16 and 9.5 watts into my Elecraft DL across 80-10m, and its "ears" are superb.  Lots of audio too.

Ron's wisdom about NOT working too long at a time, and Gary's suggestions about looking for SIMPLE things (i.e. loose antenna connectors) will - once again - be tattooed into my brain before I resume building accessories.

CW forever!

Have fun with your K2, Steve! We'll look for you on the air.

Feel free to send me any comments or suggestions for the rig or manual.
