K2 SSB Bandwidth

Does anyone know...

I don't have my manuals in front of me now, but it seems to me there
is a filter on the SSB mod board in the K2 that sets the bandwidth.

The filter is built with crystals and there is no way to tune
it.  You theoretically could change the fixed capacitors to widen out
the bandwidth, but you'd have to know what you were doing and have
access to a network analyzer to monitor the passband shape.

Has anyone thought of this or done it?  I would like to broaden the
SSB to 3KHz wide.

If you could send this email, you should be able to access the Elecraft web
site where manuals are readily available.

There are three different bandwidths and the capacitor values to create
them.
