Thanks to all that responded.
Peter, AC7SB, was a great help. As it turns out the CW sidetone source was selected to U6-25. That is where the data has to come from. Moving it back to U8-4 in the ST L menu did the trick. Now my only mystery is when/how/why did it change from default in the first place??
But all is well again. Thanks to all for the help.
