K2 TX audio response mod?

TI2/NA7U
Hi All,

I didn't see in the K2 spec what the TX audio response is, but I assume
it tops out at 3KHz.
Has anyone seen a K2 mod to widen this range, to, say, 4KHz or higher?

73,

Casey, NA7U

Audio response is set primarily by the OP1 crystal filter. You could probably substitute a different set of capacitors / crystals and taylor the response. However, widening the filter will tend to worsen the near signal IMD rejection. I can't imagine why anyone would want to do this, particularly if they are using the "2.6" filter already.
