K2 Tuning Knob

Larry Dodson-2
Some time ago I purchased a Yaseu FT100 Tuning Knob for my K2, and a friend wants one, but I cannot remember where I got it.  I know it was a phone number given on the reflector and wondered if anyone can help me.  Thanks - Larry (G0IKE) k2 # 2424

Re: K2 Tuning Knob

Don Wilhelm-4
And I might add that if you cannot obtain the knob itself, you might
inquire about the rubber tire.  The tire from the FT-900 is best if it
is still available, but the FT-100 tire will work too.  With a bit of a
stretch, either will fit over the stock K2 knob.  If you like the finger
dimple, Elecraft sells the finger dimple addition.  The Yaesu tire cures
the sharp outer corner problem and makes tuning more comfortable - I do
not care for the finger dimples because of the way I tune, but YMMV.
